Furnace. SELECT - HORN. P. SELECTA | Incineration processes, drying, degradation, re-heating, thermal treatments etc. Temp. max. 1.150 ºC (±1ºC). |
Digestor and BÜCHI Distillation Unit. B324 | Complementary equipments for sample digestion and distillation in nitrogen determinations |
Conductimeter CRISON: EC-METER. GLP31 | Measures of electrical conductivity (salinity) in aqueous solutions |
Automatic titrator METROHM. 794 BASIC TITRINO | Compact titrator for dynamic (DET) and monotonic (MET) titrations with automatic equivalence point recognition as well as endpoint titrations (SET). |
Atomic Absorption (AA) Spectrometer Unicam SOLAAR 969 | Analysis of cations in aqueous solutions. Therefore, it is possible to determine dissolved metals and nutrients in water, as well as in solid compounds previously subjected to digestion or dissolution (e.g. soils, substrates, plant material, manure, etc.)
PERKIN ELMER PRECISELY LAMBDA 25 UV/VIS SPECTROMETER | UV/Vis spectroscopy is an important analytical technique used for the determination of metal and organic non-metal analytes in water (for example, nitrate, ammonium, phosphate, sulphate...) |
Headspace gas analyser for O2 / CO2 | Measures of O2/CO2 concentration in the head space of closed containers |
Multiskan GO Microplate Spectrophotometer | The Multiskan GO features a broad wavelength range (200 a 1.000 nm), path length correction and a fast reading speed. Our intuitive user interface lets you run quick measurements (10 seconds) directly from the instrument. |
PRESSURE PLATE EXTRACTOR 15 BAR (Richard's membrane) | The 1500F2, 15 Bar Pressure Plate Extractor, is used to analyze the water-holding characteristics of soil samples throughout the pressure range of interest in most agricultural applications. The pressure vessel is 4" (10 cm) deep and has an inside diameter of 12" (30 cm). Up to 4 ceramic plates can be accomodated at one time, allowing approximately 36 2-1/4" samples to be analyzed simultaneously. The Pressure Plate Extractor consists of a pressure vessel and lid, clamping bolts, O-ring seals, and outflow tube assemblies. |
Precision scale GRAM SERIE SV | Ceramic load sensor with quick response and high precision. Showcase wind-cut. 0.001 g resolution. Side and top access doors. Stainless steel plate (115 mm / 160 mm). Easy to read display with backlighting. |
Oven Digitronic SELECTA | Fan assisted circulation. Bacteriological assays, drying processes and sterilization. Adjustable temperatures from ambient +5 °c up to 250 °C. Resolution: 1 °C |
Magnetic Stirrer Agimatic with heating. J. P. SELECTA. | Stirrer-heater for liquid samples |
Analytical Grinder Yellow Line | Grinding mill for organic samples |
Mortar grinder RETSCH. RM100 | Mortar grinders are suitable for reproducible sample preparation for subsequent analysis within the framework of quality assurance and GLP as well as for the preparation of prescriptions and formulations. Samples that are difficult to comminute can be successfully processed in mortar grinders by heating or cooling them, or by using grinding aids. |
Greenhouse | 125 m2 greenhouse for experimentation at the Agri-food Experiment Station Tomás Ferro (ESEA)-UPCT. |
Four-wheel drive van | Renault Cangoo |
Support Service for Technological Research UPCT (SAIT) | The Technological Research Support Service (SAIT) of UPCT is available for the R&D groups of UPCT. It holds specific instrumentation services and design and scientific calculation tools. Its main purpose is to facilitate the work of the various units and R&D groups of the UPCT, obtaining maximum performance of available resources. It has equipment of Mass Spectrometry, Chromatography, Microscopy, X-ray Diffraction, X-Ray Fluorescence, C and N Analyzer, etc.
